Other than that, consistency across London would seem a logical thing, so that borough boundaries are either respected or ignored, but the same everywhere. Of course, like much, this is ultimately Thatcher's fault, as I doubt that it would have been like this if we still had ILEA.
Anyway, it looks like he'll be going to school in your borough. It's called Lammas, and is just off the Lea Bridge Road. We all liked it when we went to the open evening, and the head teacher is Scottish :-)
