Which is lucky, since about two minutes after I posted the above, we checked the website and found that he hasn't made it. He will, as I predicted, be going to be Waltham Forest one, since we're not close enough to any of the Hackney ones.
Thought he may be on Latymer's waiting list, which will bring another bit of stress, but may provide actual choice, since if he then gets to the top of the list, we'll have two offers.
I'm not big on choice: good, local schools (hospitals, etc) for all, I say.
